As one of our favourite restaurants, we were delighted to be involved in Kyoto Kitchen's project, providing conceptual designs of their new restaurant at 5 Bridge Street, Winchester.

Taking inspiration from authentic Japanese design and working within the constraints of the existing 5 Bridge St. building, we created intimate dining spaces including exclusive private dining, sushi bar and Japanese garden.

The aim was to develop the historic character of the building, a former coach house, and give it a beautiful understated Japanese feel, similar to Ryokan in Kyoto, Japan. Modern and stylish whilst respecting the historic use and character. Creating an authentic Japanese dining experience befitting of the stunning cuisine.
