JWArchitecture were commissioned to provide a full architectural service for a new 4 bed farmhouse with agricultural ties to a working farm with livestock.

The 4.8 acre site is located in the rural area of Shedfield.

With a simple material palette including red brick, black chard timber and black zinc we have created a modern approach to a farmhouse with contemporary detailing.

Working within the parameters of the agricultural tie JWArchitecture have prepared a detailed planning proposal for a 150msq farmhouse with modern open plan kitchen, dining and living space.

The rural setting and environmentally conscious client have led us towards creating a sustainable dwelling with a strong emphasis on minimising the ecological impact.
